Anyone interested in a 1989 Stingray5??

I could be persuaded to let this beaut go, as Im off to America for a while, its red, rw, lacquered neck, great condition for year, sounds wicked, much better than new ones. Comes with HSC.

Im not desperate, as this one is a keeper, but, could let it go to a good home.

Good luck, don't know why they ever did the Matt finish these basses play much better... and they sound better, Alnico P/Up with a true single coil position.

The original SR5 colour - I still have my copy of Guitarist from 1987 when they reviewed the very first of these and it was this colour. Never seen another one like it until now.

yeh its trans red/wine red/burgundy whatever they call it. Alder body, Im crazy to sell this funk machine, just sounds too good. I may withdraw very soon, case it up, and store it while im away.
