Ibanez BTB200

Just wondered if anybody had any experiance with these basses. Having trouble finding one local to try.

Where's local?

I tried a BTB300 about 6 weeks ago. Probably not significantly different. It probably handles like the SR300 range and would not have a huge difference in sound. The EQ is the same ("phat EQ") but the mahogany body might take the edge of the SR sound. I picked it up and played it for a short time. Only after I'd put it back on the rack did I remember it's a 35" scale model. I didn't notice the difference.

If I remember rightly, Ox plays a BTB. That's a selling point right there...

They are.

I think there's photos etc. kicking around if you google "lordi unmasked" - especially the frontman. There was a bit of a to-do after a magazine in Finland published pics of him without the costume.

If i bought basses on looks alone, i would have one already.

used to own a BTB300QM it was a great bass - build quality was excellent and Eq gave plenty of quality tones and only paid £150 for it.

I recently got rid of mine to fund a new bass but wish I hadn't now. Great tone, put together nicely, good quality but most of all looked awesome.
