Buzz
Just a shame it's not a Grabber.
Cat Burrito
I prefer the natural look ones, couple of great deals on second hand ones recently on EBay. I love the look but didn't like the unfinished feel of the necks when I tried one. I'm sure they'll suit many people though
Ancient Mariner
Nice idea, but I wonder what they weigh with a (largish) maple body.
Tait
i played a natural one of these at a london guitar show or music live or something a couple of years ago and seriously thought about buying it. i didn't know they did it in black, this has me gassing slightly. lozbass
Great deal! I have an old Ripper from the early 70s (heavily modded) and it's a superb bass. Rippers seem to divide opinion - some love 'em (like me), others loathe 'em. The Epi is very different from an original but still looks suberb and I'd suspect, is a decent player. You'll need to consider a case - Rippers definitely won't fit in a standard case (body width).
Paul S
I love them too - damn, that's one handsome guitar. My Washburn Sacvenger (eyes left) is very similar in shape and also has a fat arse - fits into a Hiscox STD-EBP case. arsenic
I remember drooling over the Gibson Ripper that was on display in a local guitar shop when I was younger, I could justify it at the time, but never afford it - now I can afford it, I can't justify it - typical. But if these are as good as I have heard - it may be a solution to decades of unfulfilled GAS - after all, what's in a name
Jag_Bassist
Does anyone know if you could directly change the bridge for a Badass?
Moos3h
Coda have them at the same price and I very nearly bought one last week. Glad I tried it first, because as I'm a fatty it was VERY uncomfortable to play!
