What are these basses like to play? and what are the tonal differences like between the single pickup and double pickup options?

i'm thinking either a squier p/j special or mabey one of these.

i like quite a rocky growl/pbass kinda tones so i thought mabey the single pickup version.

What are peoples impressions of these basses?

Ive got one if your interested buuuddy its a great bass to play but its not a touch on my modded pbass so it just hangs on me pretty wall lol. If your interested give us a shout man.

Hi - i gigged one for a while, (single p/up 5 string) was a little limited, but sounded ok for rock/blues covers!!
