Facebook Fan Page

I've been nominated by my band to set up and look after a Facebook Fan Page. Anyone done this and if so, does it differ from a normal account?

Any hints and tips?

You need a regular facebook page to set up a band page. If I remember correctly, you go to 'pages' in the left hand column and on the next page click "create". All fairly straight forward.

You might like to download the iLike app as well. Quite useful for cross-posting to myspace (if you have one).
