Pedal/FX to make electric guitar sound like acoustic guitar??

What it says above really? We have feedback issues using acoustics and need our singer/guitarist to stick to an electric, whilst wanting an acoustic or near-acoustic sound for some songs

Ah beat me to it! I think there are one or two others out there - but I reckon this one will be a good bet.

Yeah one of guitar players uses one of these, very convincing piezo simulation.

yep as with everything guitar related, when you want reliable, giggable and decent sounding -

Go to Boss
Go Directly to Boss
Do not pass boutique
Do not spend £200.
there might well be an ac3, but IIUC, the wisdom is that the ac2 is superior
They always say the older ones are better.

I used to know a band who's guitarist used an AC2 and he just couldn't get it to sound right through his amp - too brittle, so he had to make himself a switcher so he could cut his amp and feed a DI to the PA from the AC2. My guitarist has an AC3 and it sounds great through his amp or DI'd. Make of that what you will!

I think that was the original problem, this thread could become a feedback loop.
