neepheid
I'm sure they're perfectly functional. I've not used one myself, but know of people who use them without complaint.
Kiwi
I'm not one. I had one on a custom jazz bass. The base plate didn't have any grooves for the saddles to sit in so the saddles could move all over the place.
throwoff
I don't get on with them personally but agree with neep that everyone else I know who uses them has no problems with them Edited April 13, 2010 by throwoff
Stacker
I've had two; still got one on a Jap Jazz, black with brass saddles. It hardens the tone a wee bit and I'd rather have the Wilkie than a Badass x anyday.
Dubs
Any idea about Wilkinson tuners? They look good for the money, less than half the price of Hipshot as well...
Stacker
I dunno about the tuners but Wilkinson does a lot of good stuff. I've got their compensated Tele bridge with brass saddles and it's less than half the cost of the Gotoh and does the same job!
TDM
I have a set of black wilkinson tuners on a bass and they aren't very good, if I'm honest.

budget bassist
Get a gotoh 201, they're about £20 or so and worth their weight in gold. EDIT: if it will fit, that is. Edited April 14, 2010 by budget bassist
gelfin
I have a pair of Wilkinson bridges on my twin neck. (see my avatar) I am happy with them. Easy to adjust to neck width and sem pretty stable.

I just bought a 201 clone elsewhere cos I couldn't find one that cheap! {edit} mine had to be gold too - so there appears to be a premium on the price for some reason. tom1946
I've used Wilkie tuners on a les paul copy and they were very good.

bh2
I put some big backs on my MIM P bass... super!
BassBunny
I used a Wilkinson Vintage Bridge on a No-Name P Bass I built up and it was really good. Really chunky and brass Saddles. Well worth the £11 odd from Axes-R-Us

TJAS92
i got a wilkinson bridge on my aerodyne and the saddles keep dropping and thowing the intonation out which is very annoying, im gunna put a fender deluxe bridge on instead until i can afford the hipshot one
