Meenie
Hi just stumbled across this place, anybody got any good advice about what gauge strings to put on my five string t-bird,I'm using the tuning A,D,A,D,G and the two lower strings are way too sloppy with the strings that it came with. neepheid
Welcome to the forum Can't help you with your query though - try posting it in the Bass Guitars forum and I'm sure a 5 string expert will be along shortly.

Marvin
Welcome to basschat. I'm afraid I get amply confused with 4 strings, adding any more would be disastrous.

Meenie
I was a tad aprehensive myself to be honest but the BTRL music demanded some super low notes so i had to oblige. Not so bad now i'm used to the extra one. cheers for the warm welcome by the way!
