I've always had a bit of a thing for black basses, so consequently my line-up is in the majority all a bit 'Darth Vader'

Sorry to sound like a w***er, but apart from the bridge and headstock, i'm having a tough time distinguishing between the cutlass and a standard sort of stingray?

They're pretty much the same instrument, but the Cutlass has a carbon fibre neck.

Cutlass = graphite-necked Stingray
