jwbassman
For your viewing pleasure tonight - my very first Fender - it's only taken me 18 years of playing to get round to getting one ! A 2003 US Precision, I wanted a black, black, maple... but ended up with this instead ... [attachment=3519:fp_01.jpg] [attachment=3518:fp_02.jpg] [attachment=3517:fp_03.jpg] [attachment=3516:fp_04.jpg] Jury is still out on the scratchplate - so I may still get my black, black, maple... Muppet
I reckon black on black does it for me (well it would - see my porn thread) although I like the mirror plate - especially for Lizzy tribute gigs like I played last month ;-) I bought it off Dood who I think put a black plate on his black P, if I recall..? jwbassman
I'm undecided, but my wife seems to like it - i'll stick with it for a few weeks and see if it grows on me...
Tait
i got a black and mirror p bass myself, I'm deciding whether to put a tort scratch plate on. they look cool with the mirror, though, I'm keeping my pickguard till christams when I'm getting new pickups, I'll see if its grown on me more by then. anyway, nice bass! jwbassman
why thank you - it needed a good old clean, but came up beautifully... plays really well too and sounds great, really looking forward to next weekends rehersal to give it a proper run out... I know my guitarist is gonna love the mirror thing, so I may not have any choice as to wether I keep it or not he's even ordered one to match Cheers for the positive comments guys Edited November 19, 2007 by jwbassman
