As many of you guys have said these 70's Fenders (the heavy ones) really have an amazing sound of their own, quite different from the lighter ones. I guess its only the same as playing your average 5 string Stingray etc. I'm selling my Walnut/Mocha one as you might have seen (also sounding fantastic), but I wish you luck with the sale of this one, as someone will get a great sound.

I have indeed seen your beautiful buxom jazz for sale. Anorexic basses are just not for me, i like a bit of meat on mine to give it that fuller more rounded feel.

If I have money after getting a new car this week, I don't like the overwater j at bass direct and this is still available. I will be VERY interested in this.
