In today's newspaper - Patitucci joins the Scottish Chamber Orchestra

It's been a very long time since I've been inspired to start a new post but this morning I was surprised to read an interview with John Patitucci in my usual paper: The Herald (formerly The Glasgow Herald). I'm really impressed that someone I've only read about in bass magazines got a fairly lengthy interview in a newspaper.

In short it seems that JP will be doing some concerts with the SCO. I can't say I'm a fan of his or even jazz or fusion but I might just check this out as it sounds so interesting.
