umcoo
Hello there. I'm thinking about selling my Peavey T-Max and Ampeg 410E. I'm not in a band anymore and rarely play very loudly (due to the amp being in my room), so I'm thinking of just getting a small combo. Has anyone downgraded and regretted it? I'd be looking for around 100W, perhaps an old Trace off ebay or something. Thanks
eude
Hey bud, I recently downsized from a big heavy combo to a mini rig >> http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=5152 Kinda the same but opposite from your plans, but I can't recommend this lil' setup enough, plus I have to option to add another cab to make it a hell of a lot more powerful later down the line. I'd be sure to check out modular rigs too if I was you. If you're set on a combo though, there's been a good few Trace Eilliots for sale on here recently, bear in mind though, they ain't light, but what a sound If you're going new, I'd check out the Hartke Kickback amps >> http://www.samsontech.com/products/brandpage.cfm?brandID=3 and the Fender Bassman combos >> http://www.fender.com/products//search.php...;subcat=bassman These amps are available from GAK pretty for not too much folding stuff. Good luck dude, Eude
umcoo
Thanks mate! I've put them up in the FS too see if anything happens. To be honest, I don't pay much attention to amps. I like a good bass and good effects, but an amp is an amp to me! Thanks for your suggestions Eude, I'll have a gander!
