Fender Deluxe Active Jazz Mexican

I have seen a few posts about the P bass Mexican version but has anyone got the Jazz version? Is the active circut any good? I know the score with Fender`s quality control but just wondering if the bass is up too much?

I bought the 5 string version about six weeks ago,and really like it. I don't really play around too much
with the active circuit-just a very slight mid boost. It sounds really good,plays great and has no quality
control issues. It's done most of my gigs since I got it.
