If Carlsberg aged necks they 'probably' wouldn't do this

Crickey moses this is awful! I can appreciate why he's selling the body and neck seperate... if this does belong to a BCer please tell me you didn't 'assist' the aging process! :)

Ah, but the seller's in Coalville. Lots of coal there. Hence the 'coaly' nature of the neck wear. Well known occurrence in that part of the world. They call it 'Neck Blacking', though it comes out a sort of dark grey.

Astonished you didn't know that, man of your calibre. Quite shocking, really.
