Clarky Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 As you willl see it really retains the essence of an early 70s Precision http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Vintage-1971-Fender-...=item53e0d3e259 Quote

Mr. Foxen Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 I can here it's little pleading voice saying 'I've still got that mojo.' Not quite as awesome as the old Fender body that had been infested with termites. Quote
Happy Jack Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 Certainly one way to achieve a light-weight vintage bass. You'd struggle to find a scratchplate for it, mind. Quote
Bassassin Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 I think there's a fine line between "great... vintage project" and "firewood". It's not that fine a line, though. Jon. Quote
kevbass Posted April 25, 2010 Posted April 25, 2010 I think it looks alright, would look quite good with a lick of paint on it and the hardware back on it. It'll probably go for cheap too. I might go for it if I were feeling the urge to have a go at a bitsa build, then I could play it in front of people and think to myself "yeah this is a vintage fender and none of you have the slightest idea" Quote

That body however would get you noticed! Quote
