Guest BassKS
Hey Guys, Bought it of dontcarebear back in December (the 14th I trust). A great bass, WIth ebony fretboard, Flame Maple top body, Alder body, Wenge neck(?). Pickups are Wizard classic (64s), 201 Gotoh bridge and Schaller tuners. The piccies of it on BC show the bass with a preamp and Barts. This was changed before I bought it and it is now passive with Wizards. I wish DontCareBEar could help me out here for more details. This is a very good bass with an awesome action, tight pocket, and quality hardware. Have recorded a few songs with it and sounded fabulous. 400 quid gets it which is a bit less than I paid for it. Why am I selling? I have accrued three jazzes in the last five months and am in need of a five string. I have isolated which one I need to buy and am sadly shifting the one which will make me most of the money quickly. Collection from Sheffield or London (weekends). If anyone buys it in the next couple of days, I will give them a Boss BF-3 Flanger as a sweetener. Hows that??? Thanks y'all. Oh yeah. Please find the warmoth bass piccies on the porn section put up by our dontcarebear. Thanks Fatos Edited June 14, 2010 by BassKS

Guest BassKS
OK, slight misunderstanding. For those who are interested, the preamp and Barts were taken out before I bought it. Wizard 64s are what the bass currently houses and there is no on-board preamp. However it sounds the canine testicles.

Guest
It sounds awesome with the Wizards too, 100 times better then it did with the Bartolinis and SD preamp.

Dodge
That's is truly gorgeous - I'm going to be ordering something kinda similar from Warmoth over the next 12 months, and it that had stainless frets installed it would already be mine! Good luck with the sale!
evoman
Why were the Barts removed? Why remove some high end pups to put in the Wizards? I'm interested in the bass, but would be more interested with the Barts, especially since the Wizards are described as being very retro sounding, but I am not personally familiar with them
Guest BassKS
Hmmm, I feel you evoman as these are more traditional. There was a point where I considered getting a set of Barts and run it through my tonehammer. However, I bought the bass as is with the wizards and selling it as is. It sounds awesome like this too. Dont forget that open poles have much better response on the harmonics and the overall sound richness.
Guest BassKS
PS. you pay 350 and leave the pups with me. pickup a set of BArts 2nd hand for 80 quid and there you go. A cracker for 430 pounds....
