Hey

I have an Line 6 studio 110 bass amp which is around 75 watts

But i would lyk to go louder for gigging so i found a couple of amps (cabs), one being a Laney RB115

Could i plug my line 6 into the Laney with it still coming out with a nice sound?? And would this make it louder??

And can anyone recommend a decent cheapish bass amp or cab?

If you are just adding a cab to a combo it will not really get louder, well scratch that you might percieve it to be louder. You will physically move more air and get more of a feeling from it but it will not increase your headroom. As soon as the mix gets busy your bass will dissapear. Re-invest in something bigger.

You could run an XLR to 1/4 jack cable (not a mic cable as you would need a male XLR) from your line 6 to the Laney.
But I would save & get a more powerful combo or amp & cab.

True, but I thought he had a Laney combo (the use of amp (cab) led me this way).

If it's not a combo, then don't listen to my old advice. Instead, sell your line 6 & buy an amp (head) to stick in to your 15" cab.
