mrjim
What do people think of the Korean made Squiers? I'm looking at a late 90's Jazz but would like to know what people think. It's one of the "KV" squiers meaning it was made by the Saeham factory (who i'm told made the Vester brand of fender copies). Were squier still using plywood for their bodies that this stage or had they moved on to multi-piece hardwood bodies by this time? Any opinions appreciated... Cat Burrito
I had a late 90s Squier Jazz bass in the late 90s which was good. I thought the Korean Squiers had a good reputation
brummie
I had a 1996 Squier Jazz that was one of the best basses I've owned, I really regret selling it, I don't think I'll ever get any other bass that was as easy to play, low action, stayed in tune & everything else I want in a bass. stinson
I have a mid-late 80's Korean Squier Jazz which I've owned from new. Its a fantastic bass. It endured at least two years on the road, literally thrown about in the back of a van without so much as a gig bag. I treat it with much more respect now and it sill delivers. Can't comment on the later models though.
