Importing from France

Evening all,

I've checked the wiki and ploughed through the pinned topic under "Bass guitars" (nearly all about Japan), so I'm on the verge of making my first direct internet purchase (as opposed to Amazon marketplace) of anything from outside the UK. In this case it could be The Bass.

I'm well aware of Thomann.de in Germany, but has anyone used woodbrass.com or Euroguitar in France? They both include VAT as part of the purchase price.

Sorry to be pesssimistic, but in general is the returns procedure as simple as it looks.
