Bilbo
Probably Dave Holland. I have about 70 cds with him on and love pretty much every one of them
Wil
Probably Cass Lewis. When I was starting out I would have said Stuart Zender, and he definately was a big inspiration, but not so much anymore.

El Bajo
John Myung but I've been playing around With James Jamerson tunes lately and to me he's the epitome of groove. Just hope some of it rubs of on to me.
TheRev
When I started playing it was Jack Bruce and Andy Fraser, now it's probably Danny Thompson. I'm influenced just as much for his philosophy towards playing bass as his actual bass playing.

Fat Rich
Wanted to play bass as soon as I heard "White Lines" by Grandmaster Flash. When I found out it was Doug Wimbish I went to see him do a clinic at the Bass Centre and wasn't disappointed, although it was difficult to see what he was doing because Pino Palladino's big hair was in front of me. Oddly, I don't think I've ever played any of Doug's basslines. These days I'd say I've been most influenced by James Jamerson, Flea, Billy Sheehan, Anthony Jackson, Marcus Miller, Victor Wooten and Jaco.... although I can't play any of their lines convincingly either
Doddy
Marcus Miller is without doubt my biggest influence, although lately I've taken alot from Janek Gwizdala. But that's just two of many,I've taken inspiration from so many players- Jaco, Victor Wooten, John Patitucci,Jeff Berlin,Jimmy Haslip,Bryan Beller,Billy Sheehan,Mike Gordon,Christian McBride, Ray Brown,Paul Chambers,Will Lee,Les Claypool,Tom Kennedy,........ There are too many. I'm just as likely to take inspiration from other musicians as well..... Mike Keneally,Chick Corea, Steve Vai,Herbie Hancock,Steve Gadd,Dave Weckl,Mike Stern,Michael Brecker,Buddy Rich, Miles Davis,Ween,Trey Anastasio,Frank Zappa,Bela Fleck,Jojo Mayer,Gene Krupa...... again there are just too many to list. thepurpleblob
I'm not very good with names..... In the first place, possibly, Jah Wobble of all people. Now, many and various, I listen to as many as I can - I'm not much of a hero worshipper. I go and see pub cover bands and see a guy who is better than me and take inspiration from that. I've not really answered the question.

Floyd Pepper
Two people introduced me to the bass...Mark King and Sting. Once I started to understand bass then it was Marcus Miller (live gigs are amazing and an inspiration) and James Jamerson (Genius).
