looks like a piece of hommade junk, i have something similar.

The neck can hardly take 4 strings and there's an empty tuner hole in the headstock for a 5th string

my guess it was made as a 5 string guitar project (in someones shed, with very crude tools and little skill) and the 5th peg has been taken out a 4 string nut put on and a Schaller bridge (which is probably the best bit about it!).

looks a very short scale too and a week pup so I guess it could be great or utter cr@p.....

I agree with the above - a Hofner neck & pickup. The neck might have been worth something if the 5th hole hadn't been bored in it. Is the body a slab cutout in the shape of a 185?

Methinks if you tell the seller that it'll get listed with "rare vintage Hofner" in the title and given a £100 price hike....
