Don't suppose a Bass Collection SB441 (dual P-type pickups, active, red sparkle finish) would tickle your fancy would it? I'll get some decent pics later today...

5 string fretless here:
http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...rafter+congress
now with the original pickups reinstated rather than the EMG 40s (used elsewhere)

As a T-40 owner I can vouch for these being absolute beasts! you will not be disappointed no matter what your disposition. this is a good price too.

Would it be possible to post a pic or two of the area around the 5th fret please? Just trying to figure out what the wear and tear looks like.
No case unfortunateley ,it's not mint as i said, just player wear,i was toying with idea of a sand and refin on body.Has got one of the circular bits on the back missing where the strings go through body but the retainer bit is still there.just needs a bit of tlc .SOUNDS GREAT.
Nice bass.

As Cocco said, these are beasts.
Yours is a fairly rare "Three Piecer" - most of the bodies are five pieces
like this.

Stick a set of Picato 735 40 - 100 on this and away you go.
These, in my opinion, are some of the best strings around and suit the "T" down to a "T"!!

Good luck with the sale. :)
what's the nut made of?

can u outline the controls, ie. what the switches do etc?
Brass nut (or some other metal/alloy) looks original.
two vols, two tone ,front toggle =pick-up selector back one if i have it right,is a phase switch...it's subtle ,but i think the tones are affected to by this too, depending on the switch position.
there was an online brochure somewhere but can't recall where.

There's a T-40 thread here which explains the controls. They're easy to master once you get the hang of them.

Any chances of those 5th fret/neck photos I asked about before?
