looking great mate. Don't think i could really play a 51 style bass because of the pickup placement but it does look cool.

More like a fish shed, it houses the filters, pumps & electrics for my Koi pond, it seemed a good idea to get some photo's in daylight - but

Those '51 RI's are great bass and yours looks very cool with that new pickguard.

The thumbrest should be on the other side of the strings though

In which case I believe it's referred to as a 'tug bar'..!

EDIT: ...as opposed to a 'rub and tug shop', which is something else entirely.
