I need to change the effects loop on my LM III from parallel (factory default - goodness knows why) to series.

I have a service manual for the earlier LM II which shows how to do this - it's a very simple mod and just requires two jump connnectors to be changed, one on the preamp board, the other near the rear panel send/return sockets. Unfortunately the circuit board in the LM III is a little different from the LM II.

Does anyone out there have a service manual or circuit diagram for the LM III or instructions on how to make this mod to the LM III?

Thanks

Hi, thanks for this information. I have fitted a DPDT switch to the back of my LM2 (there was even a hole labelled "footswitch" behind a little panel on the back, so I didn't have to drill the case!) to enable parallel/serial switching of the effects loop, and not having the service manual I wasn't sure how many places needed to be switched.

If your service manual is a PDF I'd love to have a copy...
