Made in September 1991.Very light weight,very comfortable and versatile. Note:I have this bass since 2008.The tuners are not original.The former owner removed it (i don´t know WHY) I have asked to Alembic for new gold tuners.It cost 25 dollars each one. To Happy Jack: I sent an e-mail to Alembic the last week but i not received response.I phoned to DoctorBass (Alembic dealer in Spain) and they don´t have tuners available at this time. I´m sure that in the U.K., France or Germany is more easy to find. The other option is put gold Schaller tuners. Weight:I don´t have a good weighing machine but weights less than 4,1kg (around 4kg) The case is not original.Comes with a Yamaha (high series) case in black, lined to keep Essence´s narrow body.
