jonsparrow91
I bought this a few weeks ago as a backup bass, Epiphone basses have a shaky reputation but I think I got a gem here, tried out a load of basses in the shop (all of them more expensive than this) but I walked out with this one. Perfect condition still and a really nice grain (pics up in a bit). This may be back up for sale now. Due to my own deafness and the absurd incompetence of a certain delivery company I'm a week overdue sending this bass off and the trader's GAS is starting to wear off so I have proposed selling this bass and using the money to pay for the bass he sent in full. I will post a price as soon as I have one from him. This is collection, meet up or personal delivery only with the buyer covering as much of that cost as possible (depending on where you are, I'm in Morecambe in the North West so places like Manchester are ideal. Bigger cities seem to have cheaper fares. Also I'm on study leave so I can get off-peak fares.) Edited June 8, 2010 by spaz91

jonsparrow91
Well I'm in deep sh*t with my bank and phone company so £125 for the next week, that's £65 less than I paid and its in the same condition!
Delberthot
that's much cheapness -thank goodness I live too far away, of course I don't really want it as I am gas free. honest guv
gamester4520503
Fancy a trade plus a bit of cash for a 5 string? Its a tanglewood rebel 5k. I've also got a 4 string fretless for sale too - they're both fairly cheap. Let me know if anything takes your interest! Sadly this would involve a bit of postage but I'm ok placing my faith with a courier. I haven't had any problems so far... jonsparrow91
YOu've certainly got my attention! Just a few queries though, is the fretless the same make? What colour are they? What's their condition? And how much cash would you be willing to add on top? Obviously pics would be a bonus. Just updating: its been given a set up and a clean and also restrung with some Ernie Balls I found under my bed (not my favourite brand but better than the dead ones it had one before.) Nice low action, can even get some metal 'clank' out of it if you want.

Nice action, a little bit of neck bend but nothing to be worried about, still plays ok. Sounds really lovely (Entwhistle pickups, P/J style). Really nice sound, proper fretless "wom", pictures on a post in this thread: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=69115 Both are admittedly second hand, but in really good condition. I've been to a couple of stores and they reckoned they would sell for £100 each, so I'll make up the defecit. I could also throw in a ritter bag. jonsparrow91
Things certainly have a way of fixing themselves! This is no longer for sale as I have solved my money issues. May be open to interesting trades though. (Would love a CV Squier...)

jonsparrow91
Oh come on! Look at that lovely grain ^_^ and you can get some seriously funky tones from those pickups. The bridge is full of honking high mids and the neck pickup is full of growl, combine the two for some really groovy stuff. A must for Cream fans! I would rather no money changed hands but for reference its £200 new if you want to give or take a few bob. I'll throw in £20 for a CV, VM or Deluxe Squier (not fussed which, they're all damn sexy!)
