Wow what a striking bass. I'd love to try one.
I have a new set of Dingwall 6 string bass strings if anyone wants them ?
I can't use them they're all weird and tapered. I acquired them with an Ebay purchase a while back.
Cant remember the details off hand but I'll dig them out if anyone is interested

Cor, that is a stunning colour.

Keep the pickguard though, not only is the colour a great contrast, it also breaks it up and adds a feature.

Ah mate, the fan frets really make sense. How was the alembic fretless? I was humming over it for a while... Car insurance and getting hit by a stolen car held me back... And all on my birthday! I can say that my Dingwall is my favourite bass... But it would benefit from active eq!

The alembic was nice... far too heavy though, man a rehearsal with that beast nearly killed me!

How's this for a coincidence? My new Afterburner 1 arrived this week. My gratitude and thanks to Mark at Bass Direct, a great chap to do business with.[attachment=50962:ab1.JPG]

PM'd.

And you're welcome to try my Dingwall. We are both in Essex so it should be easy to meet up.
Regards
Mark

That's seriously cool! Dingwalls make me go cross eyed just looking at them but I think they look stunning. I never thought I could like a green bass either. :)

i like the citrus fruit based colour scheme you've got going on there. all you need to round it off is a gin & tonic :)
