lonestar Posted May 8, 2010 Posted May 8, 2010 (edited) Wow what a striking bass. I'd love to try one. I have a new set of Dingwall 6 string bass strings if anyone wants them ? I can't use them they're all weird and tapered. I acquired them with an Ebay purchase a while back. Cant remember the details off hand but I'll dig them out if anyone is interested Edited May 8, 2010 by lonestar Quote
Buzz Posted May 8, 2010 Posted May 8, 2010 Cor, that is a stunning colour. Keep the pickguard though, not only is the colour a great contrast, it also breaks it up and adds a feature. Quote
MuseMatt Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 It definately looks like something somebody drew when they were drunk... I love it Quote
pantherairsoft Posted May 9, 2010 Posted May 9, 2010 I'm loving the Dingwall's! I noticed the Afterburner II 6 string that Mark has in at Bass Direct... I'm very very tempted... Quote

How was the alembic fretless? I was humming over it for a while... Car insurance and getting hit by a stolen car held me back... And all on my birthday! I can say that my Dingwall is my favourite bass... But it would benefit from active eq! Quote
JMT3781 Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010 The alembic was nice... far too heavy though, man a rehearsal with that beast nearly killed me! Bikenbass Posted May 30, 2010 Posted May 30, 2010 How's this for a coincidence? My new Afterburner 1 arrived this week. My gratitude and thanks to Mark at Bass Direct, a great chap to do business with.[attachment=50962:ab1.JPG] Quote
