To Kev and Col,
couple of beauties there Sirs; congrats to you both!

Why thank you Gazza Sir,

Seeing youve got the Sklar model, any pics online? They are causing me no end of GAS symptoms.
What colour is yours sporting?

Cheers

Col

I received my AB1 5 about a month ago now and im still in love. it's definitely the finest and best playing bass i have seen let alone touched. The amount of tone shaping is incredibleconsidering its a passive circuit and the pickups throw it out, so happy :)

That is a lovely looking instrument. Needs to be photographed against a lighter coloured back drop for us to fully appreciate it though :)

I'm about to join the Dingwall club, assuming it has a safe passage across the seas.

My new Dingwall ABZ5 from Bass Direct. Swamp ash body and wenge neck/fingerboard. Totally fantastic, I love the sound and feel of this bass.

very crappy photos of my recently acquired Afterburner 1 with Bubinga top which I believe I am now the third basschatter to own. In certain lights the finish looks somewhat purple.

That would be a ABI 5/3 in Ferrari Yellow. My dream dingwall, if you make it an all wenge neck ;)

Indeed it is! It is also very unusual now as I've completely rewired it! (There's a thread about it) - As far as I know, at the moment it is the only Dingwall bass that features *only* serial pickup configurations.

My mate Ben who lives just down the road from me has an AB1 5/3 with the Wenge neck and I have to say, it looks amazing! If I remember I'll endeavour to get a picture on this thread!
