Said producer chap has come up with the idea of us putting it out on vinyl. A lot of our likely audience are in the same age bracket as us and will still be vinyl junkies who like tangible music. This makes sense and apparently the new Paul Weller LP has sold really well on vinyl too. Anybody done this. What sort of cost were you looking at all in? The two best sites I found we're [url="http://www.quickpress.co.uk/"]http://www.quickpress.co.uk/[/url] who were cheaper for what I wanted and [url="http://www.agrm.co.uk/"]http://www.agrm.co.uk/[/url] who we're really helpful when I emailed them but quite a bit more expensive. The main thing that I noticed was that the initial costs for the metal work etc was the most expensive bit but getting 1000's of records after is quite cheap. Being a small band of teenagers we couldn't afford many and didn't want to buy too many just incase we can't sell them. A lot of bands are offering free downloads with the records to encourage sales. That can be set up for free on sites like this [url="http://casehardin.bandcamp.com/releases"]http://casehardin.bandcamp.com/releases[/url] It generates codes for free downloads. The singer found the company just through a Google search - I can't recall the name of them though.
