I recall doing a gig for Don Lang and Wee Willie... and they were doing their 60's nostalgia act at the time.
Classic and funny gig as anything with Wee Willie would be...:)

Tony Butler of Big Country played some nice lines if my memory serves me right, also Bruce Thomas with Elvis Costello and Colin Moulding with XTC.

can't remember the bassists name, (and i think some of it was synthesized/sequenced too), but the album 'Aliens ate my Buick' by Thomas Dolby was fantastic for pop/funk bass. look it up..

here's a cool track from it.
