ashevans09
Hi there, Just done a quick search and it's yielded nowt, but is there a bass version of those little mini rigs you can attach to your belt? In this kind of vein: http://www.guitarampkeyboard.com/en/marshall-ms-2/309 Anyone seen one? wotnwhy
short reply. no. bass simply requires too much area and movement to get a good sound out of a speaker that small. there's a brand called pignose (i think) that do small amps (around 8 by 5 by 4 inch ish) that aparently don't sound awfull with bass. and they run on batteries. queenofthedepths
I just use a guitar one... it certainly doesn't sound good at all, but that would just be impossible...
nedsbeds
http://www.dolphinmusic.co.uk/page/shop/fl...roduct_id/16018 These are quite cool. You can't get much volume out of them but they make a bass audible over acoustic guitars etc. But, take the amplifier part of out it and bung a jack socket on it, then pair with a BFM omni 10.5 and...... It's an awesome mini rig

Alien
i wonder if someone could invent speakers you could fold up.
I've been doing some work with folding speaker cabs, on the principle that you're carrying around a big box of air that's not needed until the speakers are working. Bracing is a big problem though - getting a cab to fold up to half its original size and yet still be stiff enough to sound good is something I've not cracked yet.
