Colledge
yeah, courier definitely wouldn't be cheap. i wish i had room (and a bigger car) so i could afford to keep loads of big meaty cabs, but i get enough ear ache from the mother as it is. plus the cab could quite possibly be larger than where i'll be staying next year at uni. Conan
Any interest in an Ashdown MAG410T for the Trace? Worth a try... I'm in Newcastle BTW. How old is the Trace? Do you know what model range it comes from? Edited June 24, 2010 by Conan
Colledge
thatnk, but no thanks, i'm getting a trace combo tomorow wich will probably do me amp wise, hence the sale of this and my ashdown amp. the only cab i'd really ant is something small and lightweight or a suitable trace extension cab.... maybe, not to sure. i have no idea about the cab if i'm honest. the only place ive seen one for sale is on the bassemporium in america where there is 2 http://www.bassemporium.com/item.php?sku=6440/129 and there isn't much info there either. it seems pretty old and well used though. tayste_2000
Shouldn't be looking but what impedance is it?
Colledge
its 8ohm, perfect partner to the v-type combo i just acquired this morning... if i had a van/estate and a bigger house. edit: just double checked and it doesnt actually state the impedence, but i bought it under the pretence of it being 8ohm and the newer 1528 cabs are all 8ohms so i guess this one is. the only reason i'd doubt it is that running at 8ohm its alot louder than my previous 4ohm ashdown setup. Delberthot
Gah - stop bumping this thread - the cab sold last July. Every time I see it I think someone has one for sale and go in to have a look as I fancy another. Its a 1528 so its 400w @ 8ohms
Conan
Its a 1528 so its 400w @ 8ohms
There are two versions of the 1528 though aren't there? The V-series and the "normal" one? Confusing. The 15 bit refers to the diameter of the speakers. The 2 means that there are two of them and the 8 is the impedence of the cabinet... But yes - let's leave this thread to rest in peace now!

The 1528 in this thread WHICH IS NOW SOLD wasn't as common as the 1524. an 8ohm one makes sense as I've always thought that a single 15" matches up well with a 2x10" so a 2x15" would go with a 4x10". That way you can run the pair of them with a trace amp for a total load of 4ohms
