80`s special top of the pops

I`m watching this even though most of the music made in the 80`s is the spawn of the devil, to check out the bass guitars.
So far I`ve seen Nick Begs of Kajagoogoo`s Wal and now it`s Pino with his Stingray fretless. What`s next?

I remember all of this the first time around and didn't care for it too much then. Definitely born into the wrong era. I started playing in the 80s too

I saw Nena, talk about a bloody mime act! The band didn't even bother to make it look like they were playing! Shame there was no Tony Butler with an Aria! Or even a Warwick Thumb!

Tapau...a Jaydee (I belive that mark king gave the tapau guy it as a pressie, when they were support to level 42) so some "42" content then!
I remember reading somewhere that back in the day, could be a "false" memory, it happens these days!

Do you know what I remember about Nena and her bloomin 99 balloons....She was on some other programe and she had some kind of shirt on and she had hairy, and I mean seriously hairy, armpits!!!
