I sold my 2 x 8ohm DB212s (Chocolate Thunder) to Higgie. I knew id have to stick with Aguilar. Ive tried all sorts of different manufacturers, all high end, even Bergantino, but Aguilar is just perfect for me.

It looks really well made, and I think the black tolex is a tiny bit thicker.

Sound? I already know, but this time its a one cab solution. I couldnt use the 2 8 ohm ones due to transport, and even this is going to be hard work.

Happy chap. Amp/cab GAS has disappeared. Hopefully for a long time.

I still wonder how Aguilar sent you the wrong one, but at least it's sorted.

I've had to do a lot of thinking/buying/selling but now I've got exactly what I wanted.

Great stuff - I picked up a DB112 a few weeks ago and have been very pleasantly surprised - very tight lows with loads of poke. The agi cabs (and amps) just look very cool too

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, but I have a feeling Aguilar will release a lightweight line soon. As long as they stick with their usual program, I'd be tempted.

It would have to be quite something to match this DB212 though.

The DB212 sounds marvelous, and looks great in classic black. I know, I have two of them :)

I have 2 x GS112 and they really are amazing sounding cabs. I run them with my Genz Benz Shuttle 6 amp and I have no need or desire to change either.

That DB210 looks like a great size, and it comes with casters as well doesn't it?

I was interested to see that you have both and Aguilar amp and cab and also Markbass amps too. How do you find the Aguilar cab and Mark Bass head combo? I was reading recently that a Markbass F1 head into a GS112 is the business. I am sure you have A/B'd so interested to hear your thoughts?

It might not be for a bit though, because Darren is still waiting for them to come in at the bass merchant.. :)

Well I play a Markbass/Aguilar combo as well:

SA450 into db112.

I really like the MB warmth together with the more mid orientated db cabs. It really shines with my Sadowsky PJ
