Musicman20 Posted May 11, 2010 Share Posted May 11, 2010 I sold my 2 x 8ohm DB212s (Chocolate Thunder) to Higgie. I knew id have to stick with Aguilar. Ive tried all sorts of different manufacturers, all high end, even Bergantino, but Aguilar is just perfect for me. Introducing my new Aguilar DB212 Classic Black, 4 ohms - [url="http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=56307&st=0#entry558730"]http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...t=0#entry558730[/url] It looks really well made, and I think the black tolex is a tiny bit thicker. Sound? I already know, but this time its a one cab solution. I couldnt use the 2 8 ohm ones due to transport, and even this is going to be hard work. Happy chap. Amp/cab GAS has disappeared. I've had to do a lot of thinking/buying/selling but now I've got exactly what I wanted. Get a photo when it's finished! How do you find the Aguilar cab and Mark Bass head combo? I was reading recently that a Markbass F1 head into a GS112 is the business. I am sure you have A/B'd so interested to hear your thoughts?
