Sting gauge and tension for C sharp standard

Hello all,
My band and I have completed writing a few songs for an EP, but before we decide to record, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to what string gauge would be best for C sharp standard tuning (all strings down 1 1/2 steps).

What sort of string tension do you like? Kinda between normal and 5 string set there, even a heavy normal set will be slack, and tuning a 5 string set up a tone is asking for trouble, if you do it, get a quality set as you'll be straining the cores, and have a backup play in case it doesn't like, especially if you pick hard. When I went super low I got some custom wound, as I like high tension. Got it done by Newtone strings.
