Big Bottom by Spinal Tap

Viewed the greatest rock movie ever again [url="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088258/"][b]This is Spinal Tap[/b][/url] last night (bought the tripple DVD 25th anniversarry edition from HMV £8!) Call me a fool but i never noticed before the song Big Bottom is performed with three basses. Well four really to be accurate as the groups regular Bass player Derek Smalls plays a double neck bass. Wot a fule I am, not noticing Davidl St Hubbins and Nigel Tufnel also wielding bass guitars. :blush:

To be honest I wouldn't have noticed that if my dad hadn't pointed it out to me when I first watched the film. Brilliant song, need to learn it at some point.

I always play Big Bottom and Tonight I'm Gonna Rock you (Tonight) at sound checks. I'm mostly in the folk world ,it always gets a laugh from the sound man.
