Lfalex v1.1
Just bought some Energiser Ultra 9v (PP3) batteries. They're £2.65 at Morrisons. BUY ONE, GET ONE FREE! Those of you with more than 2 active instruments might find this a good offer, as might those of you running 18v, 27v or 36v active systems, wireless units, pedals, tuners (and smoke alarms!!) Veils
Life would be so much easier if we didn't need batteries!

Lfalex v1.1
Life would be so much easier if we didn't need batteries!
Agreed, but I don't see the "Trevor Bayliss wind-up bass" catching on! As most gigs (except the outdoor ones) are in the dark, solar power is out, too. Realistically, the EBS idea of "phantom powering" FX pedals and Active EQs from their amps is the only alternative. Alpha-Dave
I've just bought 10 lithium PP3s, which are meant to be better than Duracel for £15 inc P&P. BigRedX
Many thanks for letting us know this. I don't have a local Morrisons, but I persuaded a work colleague who does to get me 10. Should see me through to the end of this year.
