kevbass
I know this particular finish seems to divide opinion quite a bit, you either like or hate it, but I think this is one smart looking bass and I intend to have one of these someday, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FENDER-PRECISION-197...1QQcmdZViewItem Edited November 20, 2007 by kevbass

The colour is bad enough, but the matching 'burst pickguard is truly aweful!
Jebo1
It was used in the late 60's (on Coronado guitars) as a sort of proto-psychadelic finish. I've seen jazzes in this colour and they look great!
The Burpster
I quite like it..... looks ghostly.... I'm surprised the EMO crowd havent picked up on it!
paul, the
I love the Antiguan finish. I've yet to see one in the flesh but the pics I've seen make me dribble.

I love the look personally.
Jebo1
Sloppy late 70's Fender, always the same, especially bad with the Antigua finish. And always heavier than my last 3 girlfriends combined I quite agree. These used to be the real lower priced Fenders because the finish was conasidered so undesirable. They now call it a 'custom colour' when to be honest it isn't, it's mroe like a 'factory special run'. If you see a jazz bass in Antigua though, let me know as I still want one for the collection :-)
