I seem to remember a mate of mine making something very like this for O-level woodwork in about 1971 ...

The bridge is something else.... it must be something else 'cos it's certainly not a f...ing bridge.

the bridge is very similar to that on the *original* issue of the Gibson Les Paul, except that Gibson got the pitch angle on the set neck wrong, and the strings had to go UNDER the bridge crosspiece to get an action.

It's faintly reminiscent of my first bass, a Rosetti 7. Except that it's far higher quality.

Going to go out on a limb and call not Framus on this. they made some dodgy stuff back in them days but it was definatly not this dodgy!
