Advice on simple home recording

I am wanting to do some basic home recording of my bass playing into a Tascam portastudio.
I am undecided what to use between my bass and the Tascam. My shortlist is,
Sansamp bass driver DI,
Sansamp VT bass,
Line 6 floor pod.
Does anyone have any advice as to which of the above would be best.

The Line 6 is going to give you more options in terms of effects but to be honest it really depends on whether you're bothered about having a load of options or you just want one or 2 nice sounds? It's really your call in this case.

Of those I'd try the sansamp DI first.
