EQ Pedals - is the Boss GE7B still the weapon of choice?

I'm after an EQ pedal - years ago I had a EQ20 which I never should have sold, but anyway - I don;'t have that budget now.

Is the Boss 7 band one still the best bet?

I have one, it's reliable and reasonable priced. Can't go wrong.

There is an Dunlop 6 band I think but it had no level control, and then a 9 band.

Geb 7 is the best compromise on controls over price.

got me a cheap GLX bass eq, supposedly the cheap brand boss clone from same factory, only £35, 7 band and level ctrl, works fine, can't fault it, sturdy metal case, silent sliders, effective tone shaping.

i have the mxr 6 band - great size wise, but balancing the on/off signal is a bit of a challenge,
i also have the boss - dependable, solid, good frequency choices
there's the Chord one, same pretty much as the GLX mentioned above - almost identical to the boss, but i got mine new for £20.
but the best i have is the Trace one. 18v power, preset shape and slider activation switches, a beautiful sounding eq - meaning i love what it does to my sound with the two sections combined

I have the GEB-7, great pedal. The overall level is fantastic, especially for those solo runs. Picked mine up nice and cheaply from these very forums, a good addition to my pedal collection.

It's a good pedal but as I'm loving the flat tone of the OTB and the compact I don't think i need it, you can have it £45 posted?
