nick
*Sold - Pending Payment* Gould 'Non-Reverse' Thunderbird Copy Bought this a short while ago on a whim, wanting to try something different from the usual P-Basses. Alas, I've realised I'm not a Thunderbird kinda guy. Two soapbar pickups, two volume & one tone with set-neck. Sunburst finish, with a minty-green-white vintage style scratchplate. In quite good condition, no noticeable dinks or scratches, but there is a slight knock to the underside of the headstock tip (as shown in photo). The bass sounds OK, plays alright, neck is a bit on the chunkyside - it is a bit of a beast of a bass! Don't know much about the manufacturer, found a review here , though it's not made in Japan as reviewer states, presume China or Indonesia is more likely. The guitar version of this does bear a striking resemblance to an Eastwood Stormbird, so who knows(?) £85 ono + £15 P&P. Local collection OK. Please PM me if interested.
