PM 1min limit

i find this annoying. if I send a PM, there is a 1min limit applied until I can send the next one. but thats not quite the case because this limit kicks in when I hit "reply" to a message, or try to create a new one, rather than when I want to "send" it.

i.e. there is a 1min wait until I can compose my next pm or pm reply, not a 1min limit on when I send a PM.

Aye.. this has been raised a few times now.

Not great, but if they need to do it to cut down on spam...

it's not the limit per se, it's the fact that you can't start composing your next pm until the 1min is up, rather than not being able to send the next PM until the minute is up.
i did check the old PM's but didn't see the distinction being made.

I'm not quite sure why its in place to be honest. The spamming that happens is rarely via PM, its mostly posts.

I too find this extremely annoying, it's the sole reason I don't reply to some people's PMs straight away.

Excellent I just went PM crazy, the problem with the one minute thing is you sent a message went to send another realised you couldn't so went off to do something else then forget about the other PM's you need to send.
