iconic
it's been just over a year since I started messing with bass now....so as you do, I have been going thru my record collection to pa-pom-along-pa-playalong with. dug out the Midnight Oils or the 'The Oils'...one of my favorite bands, but I really wouldn't want to be the bass player for them, I'd like his talent though )....real Butlins ba dump ba dump basslines...I acutally struggle to keep in time tough ....the basslines seems to work fine though! Cat Burrito
I don't know that I'd use the word dull as the bands obviously have some success. A lot of what I like is simple playing; root, fith with a few simple runs. Although there are a lot of funk & jazz fans on this site I like straight rock n roll and country so if anyone's looking for advanced harmonics on unusual frets, I think you might be in the wrong place!
