flip Posted May 19, 2010 Posted May 19, 2010 I actually have a brand new set of Rotosound RS66S strings knocking about if you're interested, they're 40/50/75/90 gauge and were bought for an abandoned project so you can have them for a discounted rate! Drop me a line if you're interested. Quote
throwoff Posted May 19, 2010 Posted May 19, 2010 (edited) GHS do shortscales for the boomers I believe Edited May 19, 2010 by throwoff Quote
Lorne Posted May 19, 2010 Posted May 19, 2010 I use longscale D'addario EXL170 strings (.045 to .100) on both my shortscale B.C.Rich Bich basses with absolutely no issues Quote
ronnus Posted May 19, 2010 Posted May 19, 2010 Been looking into this as I recently obtained a cheapo short-scale as a compact living-room beater, and the standard scale strings on it sound dreadful, even after my ham-fisted "set-up" Anyhoo, seems Fender 5250XL's are what are standard the Bronco. I plan on giving them a shot on my shortie Quote
