tayste_2000
I bought it recently off a friend who has had it 10 years and used it about 5 times, and I've never used it either, I was going to use it for silently recording some of my tube amps but I just don't think that opportunity will arise often and I have my new Matamp to pay for. It's never been gigged, can be used at 8 or 16 ohms, two speaker outputs. Goes down to 100% soak - ie dead silent so can be used as a dummy load if you wish to run your head as a big tube preamp. The only 'issue' is that the rear l/h lower corner is dented but it doesn't affect performance, to be honest it's hardly noticable. This is excellent for those guitarists who wish to practice at home with that cranked gig sound without blowing their windows out or those recording guitarist that again want that cranked amp sound without it being too loud to record. It's built like a tank and will happily take years of abuse being on the road Further info here: http://www.marshallamps.com/downloads/files/PB100%20hbk.pdf http://www.amptone.com/marshallpowerbrake.htm I'm after what I paid which is £120 shipped, and trust me this thing is heavy. This item is also on ebay for more but happy to remove it for a BC'er SOLD on Ebay Edited May 25, 2010 by tayste_2000

JimBobTTD
These are wonderful creations - I have used one with a Marshall guitar amp and it converts something which (be honest now!) only sounds wicked when it is deafeningly loud to sounding wicked at acceptable gig/practice levels. They really are heavy for such relatively small things - £120 all in is a bargain. I would be all over it if I didn't have one already!
