Mr. Foxen Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 What is 'cube power? 650w of which = 2000w of solid state. Quote

Watts are watts, regardless of whether they come out of a solid state head, a tube head, or a unicorn's arse. There are no magical watts that are somehow worth 3x "normal" watts. [/rant] Quote
SS73 Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 '' Solid CNC machined Aluminium'' so what!. Although it would be nice to see him jigsaw out the holes and use a nice old Edwards folder to make the chassis Quote

razze06 Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 Four single-ended trasmission triodes of that kind! You'll get 650W of power to your speakers, but you'll be able to melt lead on the chassis, and you'll need your own power station to run it... Quote

Which, I think, is the point PJ is making in the video. Quote

I think the guy was saying that it'd be percieved as loud as a 2000watt SS amp, i've got no quips there cos that head would be fooking loud! Quote
