mep Posted May 26, 2010 Posted May 26, 2010
thanks guys Not really interested in doing this long term, just need to do it for this gig Main question really is, is it ok for the instrument without adjusting the rod? If you can fit a flick of the switch D tuner, then I guess it must be ok? Do many people really use these?
I've got Hipshots on both my main basses. It's just so handy and suprising how many cover songs need it. Quote
Meenie Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 go get a Epi Pro 5 T-Bird,they look cool as hell and no one,not even someone with a flying V can argue with someone who is out ranking them with a T-Bird! If they keep up the yakking just beat them to death with it! I was getting all sorts of "advice" about what song needs what tuning etc when i first joined BTRL,i simply just went drop D and wrote new bass lines around that, then i bought a 5 and went ADADG and kept all my original lines just with expanded low bits here and there. I cant be bothered with tuning up and down all over the set for each bloody song! Quote
